All aimed to open our minds to new approaches to living that are designed to improve and defunk most areas of life. 3. A Slob Comes Clean
Do you appreciate the fact that people often don’t know what goes on behind closed doors when it comes to your household clutter and cleanliness? We hear ya. Please know you are not alone! A Slob Comes Clean is the completely honest (and never-ending) story of host Dana White’s deslobification (okay, we LOVE this term) process. Dana finds ways to keep her home under control while sharing the truth about cleaning and organization methods that actually work for a real-life slob. We can definitely get behind someone who shares the ups and downs of defunkifying life. Give it a listen!
4. 10% Happier
Seriously, who doesn’t want to be at least 10% happier? Sometimes we are so caught up in the everyday, we don’t even realize how much ‘the funk’ is weighing us down! Take it from ABC newsman and podcast host, Dan Harris, who happened to experience a panic attack live on Good Morning America - we could all stand to be 10% happier. Dan will help show you the way. In the podcast, he interviews executives, musicians, athletes, and more to learn about what drew them to meditation, what their own practices look like, and whether it’s helped them become a little happier. If you’re looking to find ways to defunkify your mind by calming a restless brain - listen to this podcast!
5. Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend
Okay okay. We admit it. There’s really nothing about this podcast that will motivate you to make big changes towards a cleaner, simpler, funk-free existence. BUT, many would agree that laughter cures all and we’d be remiss if we didn’t share a podcast that will bring laughter to the forefront of your life. A good distraction from any funk that may be weighing you down, Conan O’Brien allows his listeners to escape into 60 minutes (or so) of pure giggle-bliss (yep, we’re including giggle-bliss as a legit state of being). Conan and his team are hilarious. Even the ads will have you smiling from ear to ear. So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed with funk - press pause on that by pressing play on the latest Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend episode.
