Is Deunkify vegan?
Yes, none of our products are derived from animals.
Your detergent uses enzymes, doesn't that damage the fabric?
Not Defunkify! The source of the enzymes matter tremendously and we exclusively use only the highest quality. Enzymes and odors are like keys and locks. You need the right enzyme to unlock (break apart) all the different odor molecules that are stuck in your clothing. After the molecules are broken apart, the surfactants in our detergent wash the odor molecules away.
What is the difference between your powder and liquid detergents?
Both powder and liquid formulations contain a comprehensive enzyme system for effective odor and stain removal. The primary differences relate to additional functional components and application flexibility.
The powder formulation includes a color-safe oxygen-based bleach alternative, making it particularly effective for maintaining brightness in white fabrics. Powder detergents are also generally advantageous for removing particulate soils such as dirt, grass, and other organic matter.
The liquid formulation offers multiple fragrance options, as well as a fragrance-free (“free and clear”) alternative. Liquids provide practical benefits for pretreatment, as they can be applied directly to stains prior to washing. They are especially effective for oily or greasy stains due to their surfactant system and ease of localized application.
